About The Yachting Business Directory of Greece

This site was created to bring together all people involved in Boating and Yachting and to make it easier for users of related products and services to find the right suppliers in the Eastern Mediterranean. Our lists include charter agents, boat sale brokers, yacht owners, marine equipment outlets and other marine professionals located mainly in Greece and Cyprus.

The Business Directory's basic entry information has been collected from different sources in Greece.

The website team calls upon all boating and yachting professionals to become members of this site (it is free) and add their basic company information. To make the directory as useful as possible we  look  forward to owners adding as much of their company's product and service information both to highlight their company name, but also to show how sophisticated and advanced the friendly Greek and Cyprus yachting fraternity really is.

The Online Yachting Business Directory

The Yachting Business Directory was created and originally compiled by Vasilis Vrakotas, based in Corfu, who has been involved with yachting in Greece since he returned from South Africa in 1993. Vasilis has become a respected name as a base manager in Corfu for many well known charter agents and more recently has been directly involved in Yacht Management and Charters.

In September 2012, this website was taken over by British ex-pat, Gerald-in-Crete who has other web interests in Greece including Brits in Crete.

In Greek Waters - Tips

When entering Greek waters all EU boats over 10 metres in length must have a traffic carnet (known as DEKPA) that is good for 60 entry and exits to Greek ports of call. If you are holed up in a port, the DEKPA has to be stamped once every 30 days, anyway.
